One of the newest CAM Testbed UK members, Catesby Tunnel, have been awarded with the Autocar Innovation Award for 2024.
The award sets out to acknowledge exciting ventures that are making breakthroughs in the automotive industry. The award has a strong history of winners, notably recognizing UK CAM industry leaders Aurrigo in 2020.
The 1.7 mile Northamptonshire based testing ground was announced as a new member of the growing CAM Testbed UK ecosystem in May 2024, capturing a lot of attention as a well-regarded testing facility increasing their focus on the growing opportunity in the Connected and Automated Mobility sector.
Since joining CAM Testbed UK, Catesby Tunnel have also been involved in CAM Scale-Up UK, joining the preparation for the fifth cohort to begin in the programme. The CAM Scale-Up UK programme provides grant funding to some of the UK’s most innovative SMEs to enable them to undertake a testing programme with CAM Testbed UK members and accelerate their progress to market.
